First, we ask our client companies to define their corporate culture by evaluating the relative importance of ten business drivers and/or core values that determine their corporate culture. We provide a format to our client companies for this evaluation. We then compare candidates to the standard for each descriptor established by the client company.
These descriptors include the Degree of/Importance of Innovation vs. Efficiency, the Degree of/Importance of Teamwork and Collaboration, the Degree of Concern for/Importance of Employee Morale, the Relative Importance (Intensity) of Financial Performance, the Degree of Formality of the Environment, Degree of Competitiveness (Internal), the Type of Recognition/Appreciation in the Environment, the Type of Decision Making/Problem Solving, the Degree of/Importance of Predictability and the Organizational Values.
Candidates complete the Hogan® Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI) which evaluates individual fit within a corporate culture by assessing them on these descriptive factors.
We then use our Matrix Assessment™ evaluation format to compare each candidate to each corporate culture descriptor, and to compare candidates to each other.
Please contact us for more information on our Cultural Considerations™ evaluation process.
