The Cultural Considerations® Process

We screen for compatibility between a candidate and the specific corporate culture of our client.

We want to ensure that there is an alignment between:

  1. The motivational Infrastructure of Client Culture, and
  2. The motivational Profile of Candidate (via Hogan® MVPI)

We ask our client companies to define their corporate culture by evaluating the relative importance of ten business drivers and/or core values that determine their corporate culture. We provide a format to our client companies for this evaluation. We then compare candidates to the standard for each descriptor established by the client company.

These descriptors include:

Teamwork/Collaboration Morale/Concern for People
Financial Success/Bus Expansion Formality
Recognition/Appreciation Decision Making/Problem Solving
Structure/Predictability Organization Loyalty/Compliance
Product/Service/Environment Competitiveness/High Performance

Candidates complete the Hogan® Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI) which evaluates individual fit within a corporate culture by assessing them on these descriptive factors. We then use our Matrix Assessment® evaluation format to compare each candidate to each corporate culture descriptor, and to compare candidates to each other.

An aligned candidate should thrive and contribute.
